Hi All
My name is Val Richardson .
I will be looking after the blog here whilst Pete and Lynn Batchelor are busy with the hotel.
I feel very honoured to be given this task as have worked here for many years in many different roles. Even I am amazed when I start to list them. I started out as a vocalist with the resident band and incroporated the childrens entertainment. I then went on to be the entertainments manager after returning from working in Tenerife. I have since left and returned again and this time hosted my own radio show from the hotel. Cabaret, compere, chambermaid, receptionist, wine waitress, barmaid and of course hosting the website have all been in my job description since then!
I have for the last two years spent my Summers living and working at the hotel and my Winters in Tenerife and consider myself very lucky indeed.
I look forward saying hi to you this Summer at 'the hotel on the beach'
