LIVE Entertainment - Every Night
After an eventful day visiting some of Cornwall’s nearby favourite places like The Eden Project and The Flambards Experience, or you've been drained by the kids participating in one of the many local outdoor activities, our lounge bars give you the opportunity to wind down and chill out.
Linger over a cool beer or glass of wine while you watch the sun sink slowly down below the horizon.
Our baby listening service lets you relax without worries, meet friends both old and new and enjoy the nightlife, with excellent entertainment - right here at the Ponsmere Hotel.
Featuring top class acts from far and wide, if you have the energy, you can party till you drop!

Our Resident Entertainers:
Tony King:
Tony has been with us at the hotel since he was a very handsome 16 years of age! His talent of knowing exactly the right music to play at the right time has meant he is still as popular in Cornwall today as he was then. Tony did the resident bands night off at the Ponsmere in the Summer seasons for many years before taking over as entertainment manager full time some years ago.
Not only running the ballroom and booking some fantastic cabarets Tony still leads the ramble every Sunday lunchtime and hosts the bar-b-cue days, considering himself the finest chef in Perranporth at this event!
Tony combines his music with quizzes, fun, bingo, a duck race and even some fire eating. A popular entertainer who makes sure all our guests have the best possible time whilst they are with us.

Childrens Entertainer:
Lorraine King
Lorraine is another long standing employee at the Ponsmere Hotel first working on reception in the Summer whilst on leave from running pre school groups.
Her background with children is explempary and she has now been our childrens entertainments manager very successfully for over ten years.
Safety and fun are Lorraine's main concerns and she runs a team of girl helpers who are hand picked for their abilities.
